DW has issued a notice that the 779, 780, 790 saws made between 2019 and 2022 need a replacement rear guard doohickey. The cheap plastic part can fail and cause mayhem and/or injury which will delay the completion of your project.
I just went online and ordered the replacement, supposedly better metal part that shoulda been there to begin with. Quick and easy process.

While you're changing out the cheap plastic thing, check down in here for trapped scrap that is waiting to fly around. Scary monsters in there.
