Did Newell ever make graphite spools for any other Penn reels besides the 500? Would love a 501 size. Thanks

No they only made aluminum spools for the conversion kits. The 500 graphite spool you have was made by accident, they were supposed to have Newell 338 shafts put in the mold.

I saw a plastic 322 spool prototype but was never completed for production.
