Title: Penn 54gs stil rubbing

Im having the same problem as before. I think the spool might even be rubbing against the frame. Any suggestions on what to do?

Hmmm, graphite frame, right?  In his Charter Special tutorial, Alan uses a dremel to enlarge the frame where it rubs against the spool.  Is this feasable for your reel?

back off all the side plate screws by a full turn and see if it goes away.

I wish that they made an aluminum frame for it, i would buy ne right up. As of know, its looking line m gonna have to buy a new frame as the thing one of the side plate screws goes into first popped out then shredded >:(
