Finally got out on the water for some jigging last week, water was a beautiful blue, wind was down, and the lings were biting. Hooked into over a dozen, although only a few were keepers, but at least my presentation was on point and had steady hookups. Later in the day the current picked up so I switched over to dropping some Jacksmelt I caught the day before, that got demolished as soon as it hit the bottom for my rockfish limit and a few more catch & release short Lings.
