Title: Mitchell 300 Spool and Drag
Post by: steelhead_killer on July 22, 2017, 02:53:20 AM
How do you disassemble the spool on this reel to access the drags?  The three prong spring washer looks to be pressed on the spool shaft.

Thanks!

Andy

Andy just push the top center of the spool and it will come apart in 2 pieces.

Thank you!  Just did not want to force it and break anything.  Spinning reels....grrrr

If you check a schematic there's not much in between the two other than a click spring and, maybe, a Teflon washer.
