Title: Where to get new reel handle for P235-F
Post by: Dan N. on September 20, 2011, 05:34:41 PM
Hi Guys:

On my last trip, I noticed that the plastic handle on my P235-F is cracked.
I believe the attached schematic is from one of the graphite series reels.
Mine is the "P" (aluminum) series, but the part I'm referring to is labeled "3-25G".

I've had great luck ordering parts from Mystic Reel Parts for my Penn reels.
Anyone have a similar place for Newell?
Should I contact Newell directly?

Thanks,

-Dan-

I would recommend Alan's SS arm and spinner handle (IMO).  stronger set-up.  Other than that, Newell or finding a used newell and use as a parts ree.

I put one of Alan's 2/0 Kolekar handles (s/s and Delrin) on my 220-5 and love it! I wasn't impressed with the stock handle (materials & size) at all.  Yes Sal, I love the reel and the handle. :-*
