Quote from: jigasaurus on Today at 03:55:17 AMHello, have not been on the forum in a long time and kinda having difficulty navigating.
I am looking for a power handle or jigging handle for a fathom 25nld2.
Is there someone thru the forum that sells these handles for a fathom?

the one i have is the same grip that you see in the post, but it is a "bolt on" design that requires no drilling.  you remove the stock plastic grip, leaving the arm and stainless steel post.  then drop on my handle grip and screw it on tight.  done.  really easy.  the cost is $35 plus shipping.  if this works for you, please send a pm with your address and i'll get you a final price and ship it out.  thanks!  alan

Welcome to the best fishing site, and thanks for sharing. I did the same thing about a week ago with a Sienna 4000. Plus I got the arrows on the main gear lined up incorrectly. I earned extra practice with that too. Not too bad learning on 1 reel. With 4, my patience would have worn thin haha.

Pretty sure thats included in the "roller clutch assembly" which is why you can't see it on the schematics.

I recently got into breaking down and cleaning my own reels using a Hydrosonic cleaner.  I'm brand new to this.  I did my 5 Curados, from Bantams (replaced felt washers with Carbontex) to an HGK and that went extremely well.  They turn like butter now.  I jumped to my set of Sahara 4000 spinning reels (F, FA, FE).  I downloaded various diagrams of all the models and discovered I had to sometimes jump from one diagram to another regardless of the letters on the reel.  All good though.  After finalizing my 4th Sahara, I noticed the backstop was not working, in ether lever position.  I went back to the other 3 reels and sure enough, they weren't working either.  It turned out to be this stepped barrel collar.  See image attached.  I cannot find this component on any diagram.  So, when I reassembled the reels, I had to guess.  I guessed wrong.  This component sits on the pinion gear, on top of the ball bearing.  It rests mostly inside the Roller Clutch Assembly.  Turns out that the narrow side of the collar needs to point towards the heel and the wide side towards the spool.  I assume the extra space allowed by having the narrow side down allows the backstop to function. (???)  Must be, since reversing the direction fixed the backstop issue all 4 reels.  I just took the time to post this in case this helps someone.  I'm sure those of you experienced with these reels are well aware of this.

Hot dog dinner is my second favorite of all time (Rib-Eye, Sourdough, green salad is my favorite).

For me, the cheaper the dog, the better —- so it is Bar-S.

If folks really knew what Dogs were made of, many wouldn't ever eat them again (lips, cheeks, uteruses).

For me, it is brown mustard and dill pickle relish and diced onions. Dogs have to be BBQ'd towards black, not boiled.  Then sides are potato salad or Fritos, plus a bowl of good chili with onions and cheddar cheese.

We switched from Heinz ketchup a few years ago, to "Yo Mamas".  A night  and day better taste and difference.

Never ketchup on dogs though, ever!  Ketchup is to hide the taste of something.

Best, Fred

Last post by jgp12000 - Today at 11:53:14 AM
I just bought an EF arriving this week along with a 2200. I read the 2200 rotor nut has left hand threads,is the 2062 the same?

Is the side plate on or off when this happens, seems like if it's handle related it might be something horizontal? Thicker handle washer maybe.

Did anyone answer what the black stuff is on the side plate?

I have seem side plate orientation on a Mitchell 300 cause them to bind, but not lock up.

Ketchup is only on my fries.

This grilled:

If we're splitting frog hairs, I score the sausage diagonally along the length so it doesn't split & when you add peppers/onions they get all up in there.
