Title: Dam Quick Finessa
Post by: basenjib123 on May 01, 2019, 05:49:23 PM
Got a DQ Finessa that has the bail trip that is hitting the raised trip screw every time it comes around.  Seems like the rotor needs to be just slightly more forward to clear it.  Perhaps I'm missing a spacer/washer?  Any thoughts?  Thanks, Joe.

Hi Joe, I had the same problem with the first Finessa.  I can't get the URL, but go back to the D-A-M Quick section and look for my post that reads something like DAM Quick Finessa intermittengly making clicking sound.

At Fred's suggestion, I added a washer from an old Abu baitcaster, it created enough space the rubbing stopped.  I have a few other Finessas, none had any washers or shims, so the problem only happens in a few reels.

Thanks for the reply ... confirms what I was suspecting.
