Here is another one going to Bullseye54. We started off with a Calstar
RT130 blank and an old vintage butt (not sure if it is rosewood or not) and
then made a couple of winding checks out of Linen/Phenolic laminate rod.
Used large cork rings and then installed some vintage Finor rollers.
The thread is Gudebrod nylon from old stock. This is scheduled to go to PEI
for Bluefin Tuna next year. I really hope it lands a dandy and someone can
get a picture of it bent over. I'm sure John might add a couple more pictures
as he is going to use his new 20/0 reel on it and is that reel impressive!

Thanks folks! I really enjoy doing rods like this and John seems to give me so many. I bring him 2 and he gives me 4 to redo.
The new one is going to be a real challenge. An old Montague that has been stripped down and he gave me a few pictures of
what it was like. Only time will tell.
