Built an 80lb rod for my 12/0. 7'6" overall. White blank with red and blue wraps and gold trim. Poly cord butt wrap with a Turks head at the base. Re used #4 butt off a pen trolling rod that got scraped (new). Alps guides with roller.
Originally a 5'11" blank, I cut 3" off the bottom and reinforced it.

Nice work!
Those look like some serious sticks. The forgrip on that 130 class looks sharp. I like the looks of those backwards guides on these bigger rods.
Excellent work..!
Excellent work and you know I really like the style. My kind of build.
Nice and clean, love those grips!
Looks great, LP --
Really nice work.
Best,
Fred
That 80lb rod is a real beast! And of course the 12/0 overhauled by Daron.
Got a couple on it a while ago.
Nice
Both are awesome but the blue/black combo is stunning! Nice work.

Thanks!
That setup is heavy though, I find myself carrying the 12/0 and white rod more often when scouting and having to walk into spots. I only bring the 130's if I know I'll need it or setting up for a couple days.
