Title: Queenland cyclone
Post by: Donnyboat on December 19, 2023, 01:58:55 AM
about a week back, there was a cyclone came from the Pacific ocean, it hit Northern Queensland in Australia, it was on a catagory 2, although the winds did get quite strong, but once it hit land, it just sat there & kept raining, for 5 days, about 20 towns got around 2 metres of rain, it has now moved out through the top of Australia. cheers Don.

I saw the flooding in the news. I hope everyone is ok. Possessions can be replaced. Take care.

We had about 2m (7ft) of rain over 4-5days, luckily here we only lost power for a day or so.
The long range forecast has more storms coming before xmas.
Let's see.... four bottles of scotch in the cupboard, 60L of gas in the garage for the genny to run the fridge..
I think I am set! :d
