While visiting with friends we met when we moved to San Mateo, CA in June 1986 - Outdoor guy, Hunter Fisherman shows me this photo on his iPhone!!!!
HOLY MOLY!!!! A Topaz Lake Record -
14 lbs. 9.5 oz. Rainbow trout.
31" long & caught on 6 lbs. P-line test mono.
I say send me more I've got 5,000 fishing buddy who WANT to see each and every photo.
Check them out.
Topaz Lake, NV is 70 miles south on 395 from Reno, NV.

He did take all the fish measurements, photos, etc. IF he decided to have it mounted.
For now, it is stored in the freezer.
It will be a see-saw game.
So far, the fisherman is YES,
His loving wife, NO.
They live in a 5,000 sq. foot Montana-Lodge style home in the Reno area - 18' vaulted ceiling. They have plenty of wall space.
I suspect it will be mounted, will keep you informed.
Last fall he and 5 buddies ALL HARVESTED EACH a 6X6 Elk Bull or larger- Each of them in one day in western North Dakota. He handed me a piece of this bull Elk - Elk Rump Roast!!!!!!
Pat is a true outdoorsman.
