This 6'2" ultra light blank weighs only 1.4 oz, but you can catch big fish with the rod.
I'd like to introduce the rod first as it explains how technologically advanced the Black Hole USA rods are.
This rod is  a kind of slow pitch jigging rod designed to catch snapper.

Here are pictures of  catches with the rod.

I so wanted to go to the Fred Hall Show to see your rods. I'm in awe of the strength.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

I watched a dozen of your videos on the rod fighting everything it looks amazing.  My next purchase will be a black hole jigging blank.  Then I'm going to see if my friend will build it for me.

If only I could buy a few blanks in South Africa.

Would love to build some nice new rods, light in weight, but with plenty backbone.

Would love even more to try some of these rods, cast with them.

Thanks for your kind words.  Rods have to be broken. But I sold many Black Hole USA rods to West Coast fishermen last 4 - 5 years and no rods got broken yet excetpt one light Black Hole Challenger Bank 701L while lifting fish. The rod is light and you should use net.

We have Black Hole Cape Cod jigging rods from 80g to 450g as well as Black Hole Cape Cod Slow Pitch jigging rods.
I am using light Black Hole Cape COd Slow Pitch jigging rods a lot nowadays as the rod is so light, but powerfu.
The slow pitch rod weight is only 5.5 oz - 6 oz, but we landed tuna upto 100 lb
I think the rod is good for yellowtail as well as small tuna.
In fact, I love to use the rod for bait fishing. :)
