How much drag does a 16/0 senator have

Yep, about 35#, but on this huge reel there are other things to take into consideration.
The 16/0 will retrieve 32" of line at full, as the pinion gear rotates 1 1/2 time.
The smaller newer reels could do the same, but the pinion gear will usually need to rotate 6 times, making that reel work 6 times harder when compared.

If you have the Kahuna's,
The 14 and 16/0 will bring in anything.
You just have to realize, Fully spooled. A 14 pound bowling ball or a cylinder block will feel lighter on the end of your rod. ;)
I use the 14/0 regularly and it is Heavy!

Same drag as a 14/0 because its got the same innards. Only the width of the spool, posts and foot are different.
