Title: DYI threaded inserts
Post by: Swami805 on February 12, 2017, 11:21:12 PM
I was wondering if it's possible to use the threaded insert that goes on the end of the thru screws from some model newells as threaded inserts for the top of the 200-300 model newells. Looks like they would need to be a little shorter for the clicker side and maybe drill out the side plate a bit. Anyone ever tried it? Looks like it should work. Thanks Sheridan

Yes they will work, but you'll have to shorten them up, especially on the left side.

They're sex screws from the Newells using the thru frame screws.
