When I send a PM to a member I don't get the additional options to attach a picture like I do on a new post.I only get the insert image button at the top ,when I click it it appears like the attached picture with image in brackets? Never had this happen before?

You can't add an image to a PM on the spot, like you can when posting. The [*img*] tag lets you add a URL (link) to an web image, if you have one. This could be an image uploaded to alantani.com gallery, or one hosted on another photo site, or some random web page.

Exactly, You can't "attach" the image, but you can host the image in the AT gallery or another pic hosting site like imgur and then use the 'insert image' button.

[*img]add image link here[/img*]

(disregard the *'s)

So you have to post a pic first prior to posting it in a PM ? ... Jeff

not exactly amigo.

you have to upload your pic to a image hosting site or here in at.com gallery then, copy the link of the pic as the example few posts above
