This is very good of you Alan.  Good luck.

That little ball bearing on top of your handle is likely stuck down inside. Put a bit of oil in the hole, and then poke around in the hole with a safety pin, or something similar, and it'll likely pop back up in place

Crab Pot - Classic.  The Bronco was a Vietnam era spotter craft.  And what it is doing now is straight in the wheelhouse from it's original mission design.  Again, those guys are top level Badass...

If that Penn rod holder is available, I'd like to buy it.

Thanks,

Steve

It is on loan and not part of Bryan's things.

Fred was a bit unclear on the grease, Cal's on the drag washers, Yamaha Marine grease on everything else.

304 & 400 definitely not salt water reels.

306 is.

As is the 302, 303, 402, 403, 499, 498, 488, 496, 497, 486, 487, 396, 397,386, 387, 307.

The 304, 400, and other Mitchells can be used in Salt Water —- but they will desintegrate very quickly.

Money well wasted.  The larger guys will do a good job.

Best, Fred

Have an opportunity to purchase a lot of Garcia Mitchell reels that need maintenance. I know the 302 are considered saltwater reels. Are the 304, 306, and 400 considered saltwater reels?
