Title: G454 clicker
Post by: BMITCH on May 09, 2013, 12:19:11 AM
I did an upgrade on my G454-F to the narrow Tib frame. The update came with an aluminum spool. The original clicker was plastic and worn out. Is therea metal update for this?

Bob

What's the measurement across the widest part of the clicker?

Gregg Chow has some plastic ones that would be okay unless you run the clicker a lot. chowderpuff7@yahoo.com I have done fine with my plastic ones but only use the clicker when in the rack to keep the spool from making a mess.
SS ones are on ebay for $40 but that is outrageous.

Those NK kits sure are nice.

If you change from plastic to SS Clicker you also have to change the tounge & button & E Clip

Thanks guys. I'll reach out to Greg for another plastic one. I too only use it for racking to keep the line in check.
