So I got my 600h. I hear people use three main classification to reels. One is the x/0 (4/0,6/0,9/0). Another is when people are talking about smaller newer reels, they use x000 (3000, 4000, 5000) And the last is classes (50 class, 60 class) I understand its the lb mono but my 600h has three different mono lb numbers on it. Im just wondering how to tell equivalency, what x000 is equivalent to a 4/0? Etc
6/0.
300 &350 - 3/0, 400 & 450 - 4/0, 600 - 6/0, 900 - 9/0, it's easy for those reels. /000 is probably a spinner that have no /0 designation. I just bought a 50 class Shimano reel & the factory recomends using 80# mono. So that blows the line size to reel size out of the water. Rudy
