Title: Pro Gear Handle
Post by: Smols on November 11, 2017, 07:52:52 PM
Are these pro gear handle screws reverse threaded?

Trying to take one off to put on a different handle and both sides turn together. Before I really start cranking on it, I want to be sure I'm turning the right way.

The ones I have aren't reversed thread but I think they use locktite. Try heat to loosen it up

Let me know if you want to let go of the knob.

Randy,

I actually just put it for sale on the big auction site. It is a black counter balanced handle and both the Phillips head and the Allen screw are a bit buggered up. I tried some heat after letting it sit in the freezer for a while with no luck. I did not want to make it worse, so I will sell it.

If you want it, I think I can remove it from the auction as long as there are no bids.
