Title: Some days are easy.
Post by: gstours on August 24, 2022, 08:38:38 PM
When fish bite it's easier than trying to make them bite.
Here's some easy coho biter's.   These were caught using a mooching reel and a downrigger.   Blue/silver hootchy behind the hot spot plastic flasher.
Silvers/coho will feed heavily and continue to grow adding a few more pounds before entering the spawning estuaries,  always fun.

Nice coho, always tasty. I'm glad your catching them on a mooching reel and not calling them silvers  :d

Cheers:

Love them coho. Nice job Gary

Canucks prefer coho, but it is also known as a silver salmon. Canucks don't have "king" salmon either. They got springers or tyee. Those same salmon become king salmon once they cross the border into USA
