The long dream has come true with this custom built fishing machine. With the 350 qt 5 ft coffin box up front instead of the standard boxes on either side of the bow I can fish completed around the boat with almost 40 ft of open railing. The GPS trolling motor will hold position so no need to deal with anchoring. The twin 115 Etecs pushed it to 41.7 with 4 of us in the boat yesterday in a quick dash between no wake zones. The Dusky design is known for a smooth and dry ride. I had tackle storage built into the CC and the base of the leaning post is a very large live well. Electronics are 12" Lowrance HDS Carbon and Lowrance radar. Thru hull chirp transducer for better clarity. Ready for some good times for several years. I have 26 rod holders on the boat since I like to have pre-rigged rods sitting ready for action.

Wow !! What a beauty good for you !! That should keep you busy this summer. Post pics of fish you catch on it. John Taylor
Nice boat Dwight! Enjoy it!
Sal
Dwight, very well thought out....I like the coffin box.
Congratulations, beautiful boat.
Very well done, especially the rod holders and coffin box! I went to the boat show in Charleston this January and was amazed at how many 30 plus foot center consoles had only 15 or so rod holders. What gives with that? My little 22 foot pioneer has 21 without going under the gunnels. Enjoy that sweet ride and post up some bloody deck pics!
Looks great Dwight, have fun, catch plenty, but, leave some in the ocean for me, cheers Don.
Dwight, that's a beautiful well thought out boat. A real dream boat. Rudy
Nice ride Dwight. 41.7 is pretty quick for just having twin 115s as Duskys are pretty heavy. That should give you pretty good fuel economy as opposed to going with larger engines. Can't wait for the fishing reports.
Scott
Thanks everyone. The fish pics will be coming soon. The season is not quite fired up good yet so have time to play with electronics and get a good feel for the boat for a couple weeks. April is when it starts to heat up here.
Dwight
All I can say is WOW, Nice ride !!!! One of the few boats I've seen with a proper size beer cooler !! ;D
Cheers:
Todd
SWEET!
Yep, that is one beautiful boat. Nicely turned out. Where are you launching? I need a Florida trip. Dominick

Lots of torque, economical, no break in service, first service is and every service is 3 yr or 300 hrs, 10 year warranty, less weight, fewer moving parts to fail, burns 10% ethanol.
Those are some good reasons!

Congrats on the new sled! I have twin 300 etecs on my ProKat 2660 and love them for all the same reasons, plus tons of torque and high mpg.
Looking forward to seeing some fish pics, catchem up!!!

Hey Daron,
Got tired of the rat race with head boats and private friends boats that did not know how to fish and cookie cutter boat styles. Fishing my boat on my schedule and weekdays only is a good way to beat stress. Planning to keep stress out of my life and maybe I will last a little longer. Wrote down a lot of names and finally settled on Stress Free. Fishing on my boat is going to be stress free Catching. ;D ;D
Dwight
You Deserve it Dwight.
Stylin' and Profilin' in the Stress Free. ;)
Beautiful boat. I know you've been waiting for the build to complete. It's done now and should be just about ready to get bloody. That's alot of rail space and she should get up and run so you can spend more time on your spots. Do you plan to head offshore and troll occassionally as well?
I can't wait to see the fishing pics.
Congradulations!

Thanks John,
I will first troll a wahoo rig between my bottom spots. When the Mahi migrate up here later I will run about 30 miles and troll for them too. Did not get outriggers but Mike Brown at Dusky said he uses the king fish holders off the side of the T top so we got ours set up that way. I can stick and 8 foot rod off each one and add the boat width for a good spread and then two out of the corners. Most of the time will my bottom game. I am very good at it as you know. Planning to go out Tuesday for the first trip in 3 foot seas and see how dry a Dusky really is. They are known for being a dry running boat. Bottom bite is not good right now so may run out and through my king jigs. Hope to see you in December with your Dad.

How's the noise factor witha 2-stroke compared to a 4?

Quieter than my buddies new 200 Yamaha. Etecs are nice. The Suzukis are the really quiet ones.
Dwight, I have seen a couple of motors seize up, because the auto oil injection failed, best to mix you own fuel, also my mates boat, he had some braid get into the bilge pump, overheated the pump, then the wiring started to melt the plastic, it caught alight next to his fuel line, he just managed to put it out in time, so he checked everything over, know fuse in the wiring of the bilge pump, looking forward to the fish pics, good luck, cheers Don.
