Title: Who Made This Reel ???
Post by: Maxed Out on October 27, 2017, 10:26:29 PM

I'm scratching my head trying to figure this one out. Any help would be appreciated. The reel only has 250 stamped on bottom, a "5" scratched in the inner sideplate next to the main gear, and a well scribed"4" on the back of handle blade right at the counterbalance.

That's all I got, perhaps someone will recognize the components.

  Thanks, Ted

Thanks Bill. This one may be a bit tricky, but to my untrained eye it looks to be a Vom Hofe & Sons circa 1860-1880. Hopefully one of the ORCA experts will enlighten me.
