Title: Fin-Nor Trolling Reels Drag Replacement
Post by: Capt Drew on May 19, 2022, 12:31:48 PM
I previously had email correspondence back and forth about ten or twelve years ago but have since lost all those emails.  We communicated back and forth regarding the December 7, 2008 post where you discuss the Loctite 330.  At that time you decided the Loctite 330 was the best available for drag replacement on the Fin-Nor reels.  So now that it is fourteen years later, in your opinion, is the Loctite 330 still the best that you have found for drag replacement?

Where can I buy this and do they sell it in a smaller quantity?

Also, I see some posts regarding using epoxy.  Your thoughts?

More info on the subject, since it was discussed previously in these threads.
Depending on the details of the application, Loctite 330 may not be the best. You do what you like of course, but I myself would absolutely not use it for bonding CF friction material.
