Hi all. I am in need of one of these old braced spinning rod guides. I am told it is a size 40?
The one i need is on the right.

Looks like a old perfection guide. They come up in sets on the big auction site sometimes. Is that a Harnell?

The ones with the curved brace were made by perfection. The newer ones  with the straight brace are made by pacbay. I'll check the bone yard when I get home I might have a used one in decent shape but those big ones don't survive well. I know I have some smaller ones

Yes it is a Harnell with broken stripper guide. Im trying to find the exact VINTAGE match with curved brace.

Your welcome to have this one. I'm sure it will clean up with some never dull or fine wool. Measures 38.7 mm to the outside. If you want it pm me your address.

I found one too but it's in pretty sad shape. The solder failed at the brace. I got a decent 30 it that helps
