Bought a second penn 750ss reel from usa, arrived
few days ago, noticed everything was fine but
handle did slip back when i didn't want it too.
Got on to my penn dealer in uk, he told me easy fix Paul,
it's the top dog (silent dog i think it's called).
£1.89 for part (about $1) so i decided to also change
the ratchet (didn't need to but got a refund of $20)
and next day part/s arrived, stuck them in and she
is like new.
Lovely reel, caught that ray i posted using it.
Lovely reels and so easy to fix, phoning up and ordering
an original part that's 25 years old like buying an ice cream
is a great feeling.
