I know a lot of people use these handles. They are comfortable and a nice upgrade, but the screws in them need to be loctited and the bearing lubed to insure they work their best and the screws don't come loose.
The bearing in there is usually dry, and the screws are bare. A drop of reel X and some Blue loc tite will ensure smooth operation.
There are two screws. One actually attaches the handle to the arm and there is an allen head inside the handle itself.
Daron I just replaced one today. The shaft and spindle were not prepped at all.
The spindle and outer shaft had corroded together.

These are nice, it just takes a little prep work or you will be disappointed.
Literally 3 drops. Two of loc-tite and one of reel X will fix it.
I go a little extra and grease the other internals with penn blue.
Thanks for the heads up on these. I'm considering one for my 10/0.
