Has anyone ever rebuilt or repaired a shimano Roller clutch assembly. I purchased a used Shimano Stradic 400 FH and the previous owner opened up the rolller clutch assembly and greased it. I cleaned the grease out but I cant get it to work. It was not properly assembled when I took it apart so I am not sure what it looks like when correctly assembled. Does anyone have any ideas or access to a schematic. The schematics I have seen treat the whole thing as a single unit. I dont to spend $59.00 to replace it when I am pretty sure it can be fixed.
Thanks

This is a very nice tutorial....I believe that if there's a way to put it together, someone, we, can figure out how to service it and extend its life span. I enjoyed this post a lot!
