Title: Shimano Baitrunner 4500B Drive Gear Washer
Post by: MarcosG on August 05, 2019, 03:15:58 PM
I was working on my baitrunner 4500B but I failed to see which order the drive gear washers (part 690) suppose to go back between the drive gear and the bearing.
The schematic doe not match what I have, it only shows one washer and a gear spacer.
I have two thin metal washers and one plastic washer, all three have the same thickness.
My question is. Should the plastic (flimsy) shim goes first on top of the drive gear and then the 2 metal ones after, facing the bearing or the other way around? does the order matter since they are the same thickness just about?

Thanks in advance

These are the pictures of the washers from BigT tutorial for the 6500B model.
There are three washers like mine but they all look metal to me on the picture. Mine has two metals and a plastic one. They all look the same as far as thickness.
