This was freebie from a garage. Not very familiar with ocean city reels. Can anyone supply some history for me?

  It is a standard bay city 112 reel that can hold 250 yards .

  If you don`t need a paper weight , you can give it to me .   :fish

Thank you sir! I collect old reels. This one already has a place of prominence next to some  other oldies but goodies

You can most likely find a box for your reel on the bay at a very reasonable price...with another 112 just like yours inside!
