My fishing has been....BAD! They are "restoring the beach", here on Dauphin Island, and I'm using that as an excuse! We are heading home on the 23rd...maybe I will do better on my "home turf"!

Right now the best place to fish may be out there where they're pumping the sand from; right after they shut the machinery down.

They're not supposed to be sucking up benthos and pumping a lot of carcasses up on the beach.  The pre-pumping survey should have identified live bottom and restricted them on shifting sand without much life.
