Title: shift lever knob
Post by: sciaenops on June 10, 2021, 11:03:04 PM
Looks like I lost the small knob off the end of the shift lever on my 545. Never looked at it closely but assume its threaded and screws into the shift lever hole. If any one has an extra sitting around, happy to compensate/pay for mailing.

This part is the same as Penn Squidder / Beachmaster etc. Cortez Conversions has aluminum colored levers like the Maxed Out shifters that really are an upgrade tho.

I clicked on this expecting to see a thread about making a gear shifter for a car out of a reel. Needless to say I'm leaving disappointed.

Yep, gotcha covered. I'll send it out tomorrow. It's a stock pg lever and has 2 o-rings to prevent damage

i've used small pan head screws and acorn nuts for this.  it doesn't look half bad.
