Title: Shimano cardiff 300a

I have Shimano cardiff 300a used reel.
Cast Control seems stripped; dosent tighten.
What part needs chaning repaired.

for the cast control, you might be looking at a new cap, a new side plate, or both.  it depends on which threads are damaged. 

you might also be able to tighten the cap all the way down and still have it too loose.  if that is the case, then and extra spacer in the cap might fix that.

Interesting, just switched the cast control cap between a calcutta 250 and the cardiff 300a and it seems to work ok. Different part numbers; any harm?
