Hi,

Do you know any source where I could find spool for 4500 size ambassadeur?
I'm looking for a light weight / low capacity spool.

Any info is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hello...that's going to be tough. But UT reel tech may be able to help.

After that, you may have to make your own. You could locate the plastic spacer Abu used to use for the 5000 conversion, trim it, and drill the aluminum on the spool, making your own "wiffle" spool.

The company that made them was Avail. A japanese domestic market maker of custom spools handles and such. Most of the jdm importers carry their stuff though rarely any made for the Ambassadeur round reels.

I got an extra spool for my 4600-C3 Ultra Cast about 3 years ago from these guys and they may still have more: http://savontackle.net/
