i have a abu revo toro 60HS and after reading about this reels in this forum, found out that i got the 18 00 version and, then wanna opgrade my reel with parts from the 18 02 version.
anyone tried this?
want to have the pitch control and bearings in booth sides of the spool , the stronger kick lever and all of the carbon fiber drag washers.
can this been done?
you will probably need one carbon fiber washer to replace the hard fiber washer under the main gear. to find out which kick lever you need, look for a code on your current kick. it will say "R" or "L" for right or left, and then be numbered 1, 2, 3, or 4. the stainless steel bearings you have should be fine. just clean them out. let us know which kick lever you have. the drag washer is easy. alan
