I have a Penn International 12lt and would like to improve the drag to fish 40-50lb test. Do any Ohana members know if i could adjust or change the
Belleville arrangement to achieve this or would I have to do much more to drag plate also? Looking for 18-20lbs of drag

that's a tough one. that's alot of drag for such an old reel. it helps to sleeve the spool bearings and the bellevilles have to be switched around. :-\
