This light rod weighs only 8.7 oz and is designed for small game fish like suzuki to cast 1/2 oz - 2 oz lure.
I tested the rod for striper to see how strong the rod is.
I landed about 10 striper in 20 - 35 lb range in heavy drag.

wondering how this would perform fishing some big Cabrillas here in Baja
(leopard grouper) on the 8-14lb range, they always seems to me angry with everything hahaha, pull like bulls
9.6" is bit too large for a panga but a 8" or 7.6" will be golden with the same specs
For pangs I recommend 7'3" or 8' Black Hole Challenger Bank M for those fish.
