Title: Newell P229 spools

Hey Alan/website guys....I have a P229 with a spool that is corroded along the outer edge of the spool and lets 15 lb mono through - very irritating.  Are there any other reels that this spool fits?  A 145 maybe?

Unfortunately not. You will need to find a Newell spool. You can change between series. Since you are fishing mono, I would look for a graphite spool.
