Title: Big Pflueger Hook

Was going through a few more boxes of tackle junk today — getting rid of most of the stuff that is not DAM Quick, Mitchell, Cardinal, ABU, or Penn spinning reels and the parts that go with these reels.

Found this wrapped in an old dried up oil cloth.  Almost tossed it in the dump trailer — then found this neat old hook inside.

Pflueger, Akron,O. — on the straight shank.  Steel, heavy.

Any ideas?

If it were stainless I would make a nice boating gaff from it.     We use super long light gaffs made from mostly broken boat antenna for Yellowtail.

Very much like the Mustad 2330 (which may be no longer produced)
