Title: Seafood night...
Post by: Alto Mare on December 22, 2017, 09:59:28 PM
Not often I can get two of my brothers to come over at the same time. Since we're not able to be together on Christmas Eve, I decided to have the 7 fish dinner early at my house.

Wow, Sal!

With a spread like that, I wonder if you could adopt me as one of your brothers?

Well done!

What kind of pasta?

Best,

Fred

7 fishes?
Boun Natale
Buon Natale George!
It is never just 7 fish, when my mom was with us, two of my brothers used to go to New York to shop. It took a couple of days to clean the fish they brought back. :)
Now you could find fish anywhere, mine came from Jetco, or I wouldn't be able to afford it.

Best,

Sal

Very nice Sal. Nothing like a family gathering. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
I am going to make my 81 year old mom some fried shrimp, crawfish (spiny lobster) salad, blackened Snapper and some cracked conch for her Christmas meal. Material things aren't in her playbook anymore and she appreciates a home cooked meal better than anything at this point in her life.

Sal, You are blessed with many things in life.  And cooking for your family is certainly a great way to show your love for life and your family.   I wish I was on your side of the continent once in a while.   Happy Holidays and thanks for the great pictures.
