Hi,

Has anyone got schematics for Policansky reels?

I will post specific details tomorrow.

Thanks,

These reels have a South African heritage.   I don't remember if they were made or designed in S.A. but I do remember the connection to the same guy who was instrumental in getting Penn to manufacture the model 49a during the 50's (or thereabouts)
If you don't get any reaction to this please PM me a reminder and Ill try some local sources, though it would not surprise me if none exist.

Sharnbrook Tackle offer them (on request) here:
They're based in Bedfordshire in the UK and don't list an email, but the contact form is here:
Hope that's of some assistance.
Let us know how you get on.
Cheers, Justin

Yeah I saw that but didn't know whether the website, like the reel was an ancient relic.

But they got back to me with the schematic for the Monarch 2020 within 24hours.

Seems to be very simple compared to most modern lever drags.

Thanks for the help guys. Appreciate it.
