I'm looking at a 940XL reel that has the chrome peeling off of the handle.
Are new handles available anywhere?
Is this a common issue with this model?

Yes...you see it all the time.

That's the reel I'm thinking about buying.

I guess I could sand it and paint it black.

One fix is to remove the chrome...it flakes off pretty easy...and polish the aluminum like I did in this post. 8)
