Title: Penn Mag 525 Eccentric Lever
Post by: Hook um on January 07, 2018, 04:36:38 PM
I am in updating my Penn 525 Mags and would like to upgrade the eccentric levers because they have damaged the side rings.

I found a photo of a Mag 525 on Ebay that shows what looks like a stainless steel lever from another reel.

Has anyone done an upgrade or knows what reel this lever is from?

Note,

I did find the updated part on Scott's Penn Parts(21S-525 $6.35), seems that Penn was aware of the problem and updated the part themselves.

Penn Parts are on Point again.

You will also need to replace the eccentric part (19s-525 $3.68) when upgrading from the older versions of Mag 525's! The stem of the old does not work with the stainless steel lever.
