On the Liberty out of Fishermans Landing, San Diego, CA. Props to Taro Takeuchi, captain of the Liberty, might be the best short range 3/4 day captain out there!

Congratulations Warren.  I don't think that I know anyone else who has ever limited out on bluefin on a 3/4 day boat!  I sure haven't.

I hope that you get out there and do it again soon,

Randy

Thanks Randy! Thinking about going again next Monday. Boat leaves out of Fishermans 5:30 am. Returns 5:30 pm. $150.00 Mexican permits included, $5 for a bunk, hot galley. Boat recently totally redone, still slow though but not really going that far anyway. A lot of good 3/4 day boats out of seaforth, Point Loma, h&m, and Fishermans are getting into the tuna right now. It's a crap shoot though, many good boats limiting out then nothing the next trip. Gotta just go, and go often.
