Title: Problem With New TLD 50
Post by: Out-Station on November 06, 2011, 11:45:30 AM

G'day everyone. Got myself a new tld50 the other day. One of the new one piece graph frame ones. Anyway, did a strip down last night to lube etc before use this summer. Everything went fine (i thought so anyway) untill i put it back together and i find with the reel in gear it slowly becomes harder to wind the further i push the lever forward. Without any preset on i can't notice it but witht he preset say set at about 6kgs on the button then the reel becomes harder to wind right through the lever quadrant as it goes up. Anyway, planning on pulling it back appart in the next few days but has anyone ever struck this??

Cheer's, Scott

sound's like the most common problem, bad right plate bearing. i know you said it was new but check the bearing first. if it feel's rough change it.
