Mike it will be cooler for sure. Bring a sweater and some rain gear. Expect 8 to 11 degrees Celsius in the morning (I know you know Celsius as you were in the Military ) . Looking forward to seeing you again.

How does one get a Canadian fishing license?

If you're short on time, you'll need to do it in person at a registered license distributer.
That is actually easy and inexpensive. I'm gonna have to take advantage.

Easy to do at home with credit card and then just print it out! When are you driving up?

4 nice springs this morning with a buddy: 10, 15, 15 and 20. Fresh fish !! Ron you get 30 percent over the Canadian Peso !so get up here! Alex you are welcome anytime .............. I need a liver more than a kidney !! ;D

4 springers sounds like above average morning for most of us, but any less would be sub par for the Hardy Boy !!
Are you fishing local for those, or running elsewhere ??
Ted
Its closed for chinook in the immediate area around Port Hardy until July 15 but one can make a 45 min ot and hour run North and its still open for chinook (2 per day). yellow eye are totally closed this year for the first time ever; I have had to decend two nice ones so far even trying to avoid them.

That's rich, Yelloweye are opening on other places on the coast and they close them up there?
