Best, Fred
Safe travels, hope you get a few
We're here!!!
First dinner!!!
Nothing yet this morning.
It looks a lot better than in SE Oregon Alan. We had sideways rain and 30mph sustained wind with 50mph+ gusts all last night and they are predicting 60+ today.
Have fun.
the last picture should have a tittle saying "living the dream"
surely hes dreaming catching a big cow
Good morning. Just landed this. 203 pounds, 25 minutes, started 250 yards out when I got to the rod.

yah!
It was 5:30 in the morning. Most of the guys were still asleep. The skipper came into the galley and said they hooked up. I dashed outside. When I grabbed the rod, I looked at the spool. I load makaira 50's with braid all the time. I was guessing that the deckhand had 250 yards out when I grabbed the rod. I eased the lever forward, nice and slow, and started winding back, I had to bump the drag two more times to finally stop him. He never took an inch after that. It was a 25 minute fight, mostly just to drag him back to the boat. The bow bounces more than the stern. It was alot of help. The boat did all of the heavy lifting. It taped out at 203. This one took 40 pounds of drag. It took a while longer, but it was still an easy fight.
Absolutely beautiful tuna! I like your fighting stance! :d
