Is it necessary to replace seals after greasing or oiling bearings?

I read your post about bearings.  Im dealing with pressed in shields and as you stated once you pry them out they are pretty much mangled.  Can you buy replacement shields or how do you deal with em?

that's what lead to the development of the bearing packer.  it allows you to force grease past the "pressed in" shields without removing them.  if the bearing is to be oiled, i would generally toss the shields anyway.

I found your post that showed the bearing packers that you had your friend fabricate.  Do you still have them for sale?
