Title: Testing the new knee.
Post by: gstours on June 26, 2022, 04:31:54 PM
A couple of days ago my neighbor Ken wanted to test his boat after some turbo problems and I wanted to test my new knee.   It was sunny weather and the boat ran well.
The fish were waiting and it was a half day trip.   Knee good 👍.

Awesome, no pictures of you lying on the deck writhing in pain so I am going to assume the new knee held up and you are on your way to a full return to duty  :d .
I went out yesterday and managed to scrape up 3 nice California Buts a 10 a 12 and a 14 pounder, good size for our waters.

Good stuff. My wife is super happy with her new knee from 2 years ago. I hope you have the same results.

Cheers:

Todd

Good to see you back on the water. Nice pile of butts

That's a sweet boat Ken has. Is it an Almar ??

Yes, Almar,  I think Northriver bought out them, an adapted their design.  While his is diesel w out drive there is lots of wasted floor space.    Times have changed a lot through the years.
  It's still a nice fishing 🎣 platform.  C :d

Aha, I thought I recognized that boat.

I bought new 26 North River in 2007. 2- 150 outboards. Very generous dance floor. Heated cabin is also a nice option. Ken gets much better fuel economy than outboards
