Title: Ever Seen a British Made Rocket Reel?
Post by: whalebreath on September 26, 2017, 02:40:25 AM
Not to be confused with the Abu Rocket and that's easy to do since it looks rather  like an Abu 6500.

From the website (https://www.therocketreelcompany.com/product-category/tg-f1-tg-f2-mk-3-reels/) it appears to be a distance machine not so much for actual fishing.

FWIW-I have used to Rocket Fuel oil on bearings and it's a solid product.

Yup I've handles one - but didn't cast with it :( It is basically an Abu 6500 with custom frame, better bearings, mag control and other internal parts some custom some standard.
Not cheap but a great casting machine - approaching 300yds in the right hands.

It a distance reel that surf casters use. Just like my 7ht diawa.
